Mod subject of this week

    Rogue Mods

Cutup – Cutup is a collection of small modules for Rogues. Anything you don’t use can be disabled. Bleeder, Glutton, Julienne, LightFingers, Spam and TickToxin are the modules included.

Lunarblood – This is a very simple, single-frame support addon for Mutilate Rogues. It behaves like Feral by Night, Face Mauler and Face Melter, and others – it displays in your screen a suggestion for what should be your next move in order to optimize DPS.
    Link: AddOn

PocketAll – Pickpocketing picks everything in the pickpocket window, drops it in your inventory (autoloot for pickpocket). Says PickPocket Success on successful pickpocketings.
    Link: AddOn

Trix – Trix is a simple addon to help rogues manage Tricks of the Trade usage.
    Link: AddOn
Rogue Power Bars – Displays bars for all important rogue…things.
    Link: AddOn

Cyanide Poison Reminder – Displays a message on your screen when your poisons are running out. Also tells you in which hand the poison is running out.
    Link: AddOn

Combo Points Redux – A numeric and graphical display for your combo points based on the excellent numeric-only addon BasicComboPoints. Now with Deadly Poison tracking abilities too!
    Link: AddOn

pRogue – Makes your life as a Rogue a bit easier. It places an ‘Unlock’ button to the Trade Frame, simplifying the trade of thieves.
    Link: AddOn

Slice Commander – Energy bar and Slice & Dice cooldown meter designed to help you maximize your last few seconds out of each slice and dice during boss fights.
    Link: AddOn

KickAlert – It looks at the combat log, and any time another rogue does a kick, it puts an icon on the screen with that rogue’s name and a 10 second timer. You can pick a particular rogue to follow by right clicking on their target portrait and choosing them, and after they do their kick it will put a “You are next!” message on the screen.
    Link: AddOn

Ghost Pulse 3 – Generally flashes the icon of a spell which has come off cooldown but can do much more if you scratch under the surface.
    Link: AddOn

Interrupter – A very simple interrupt team manager for raid bosses. Designed so you can quickly organize interrupt groups (each team may have more than one member) to co-ordinate interrupting a given spell (such as Searing Flames from Vezax).

This is an example of a question asked a lot on the forums. “Can I use the macro software provided with my mouse/keyboard to automate a task like my DoT rotation”. The simple answer is that all forms of automation are against the ToU and could get you banned. Read the thread though. The explainations are generally better than that :)
