Just being happy atm. Quitely happy. Oh and I now have a website thanks to Toshoba! I’m going to make you read on to find out where
Tiny Caster Stats – Displays spelldamage, crit chance, haste, in a nice readable format on your screen.
Scorchio – Tracks Improved Scorch, Winter’s Chill, Shadow Mastery, Torment the Weak, Living Bomb, Slow and Polymorph on multiple mobs, as cast by multiple mages, and gives you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely.
PortalBox – A simple addon that gathers all of your portal and teleport spells into a single aesthetically-pleasing window and tracks your Runes of Teleportation and Runes of Portals.
ElementalFlux – Shows the remaining lifetime of a Water Elemental and Mirror Images.
Living Bomb Tracker – Puts a small tracking-frame next to your cursor, whenever you are in combat and your mouseover-target is an enemy, not dead and not level 1.
PortMe – An addon designed for portal invite management. It responds to the phrase ‘port me’ in various channels. Read the info in the link for more info.
Coolfloat – CoolFloat is for people who like the stock Floating Combat Text included with WoW, but would like to be advised when their spells and items are off cooldown and ready to be used.
AzCastBar – A highly customizable and lightweight casting bar replacement addon, with support for saved profiles and plugins.
Oh Snap! – An addon that will help you to improve your PvP awareness in arenas and in battlegrounds. Not really a mage specific addon but being aware of buff/debuffs is always nice in PvP.
CCBreaker – Simply Put, this is an addon that displays breaks in crowd control. The output will always show privatly just to you, and can be set to display in party, raid, or raidwarning.
SpellLight – A small add-on designed to help you find which spells in your spell book have not been assigned to a slot on your action bar.
Qexoblast – A simple addon that plays a sound when you fire an instant Pyroblast due to Hot Streak.

This is the first ever “How to” video we have ever made so don’t judge it too harshly. We will be improving over time so bare with us.
Quartz is a modular castbar addon and looks fairly awful in its default state so we will be showing you know to pimp your castbar.
Episode 100!!! It is finally here! And with 2 new sections! And lacking one! Woo! More exclamation marks!!!!!
The Podcast and How to video are a work in progress so think of them as Betas for now… We will improve upon them as we do more and actually write some form of guidelines to stop us wandering off topic. Read on to find out what I am waffling on about.

Xeno’s favourite Mods
Scrap – An easy to use, loot management addon. That is nice talk for: it sells your greys and other unwanted items at the click of a button.
Link: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info8223-Scrap.html
Combuctor – A very clean bag addon which allows you to view items in one big bag, by colour, by type etc. Really awesome stuff.
Link: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info8113-Combuctor.html
Satrina Buff Frame – A very configurable buff addon which isn’t a nightmare to setup.
Link: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7876-SatrinaBuffFrames3.html
StUF Unit Frames – Because it has more options for configuring your unitframes than I thought humanly possible.
Link: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info11182-StufUnitFrames.html
BasicMinimap – You rarely need more out of your minimap than what this provides. The name says it all.
Link: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info9101-BasicMinimap.html
OPie – It feels like the swiss army knife of actionbar addons. Just flick out a spell. Hold a hotkey down and move your mouse to select a spell you rarely use out of a circle. It is more useful than you would think.
Link: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info9094-OPie.html
Lightheaded – Quests are difficult at times. Seeing all the comments on practically every quest from WoWHead can give you the tips you need to complete it. It also gives you a reason to open the questlog so you might actually read the quest text for once. Dive into that lore.
Link: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7017-LightHeaded.html
pMap – I love the simplicity of this addon. It just works so well. I used to use Mapster but that is a bit out of date(but still works) and it is slightly heavier than this. Move while map is open, make it slightly smaller, remove the black edging, and enable coordinates.
Link: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info8385-pMap.html
kgPanels – I wonder at times if I would be able to play WoW without this addon anymore. I like to add panels or artwork to my UI to spruce it up a bit and this is the best addon to do that with.
Link: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/kg-panels.aspx
Aloft- Making nameplates bearable to look at since… sometime a good while ago. Allows you to modify the nameplates in many different ways.
Link: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info10864-AloftBeta.html
Cowtip – No other addon comes close to providing as much customisation as this tooltip addon does.
Link: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/cowtip.aspx
Bartender4 – It is a close race between Dominos and Bartender for my favourite but I think Bartender works out as the winner simply because I have been using it for longer… even though I am using Dominos atm. They both do their jobs very well though.

Macro of the Week
Name: Misdirection
Author: Claypigeon
Macro:
Q u o t e:
#showtooltip
/cast [target=focus,exists,nodead][target=pet,exists,nodead] Misdirection
Misdirects your focus if it is not dead and it exists. Otherwise it misdirects onto your Pet. Useful for the transition from solo play to instances. Just make sure to focus your tank before you use this though
Pimp My UI: Podcast
From now on I will be bringing you weekly (subject to change with all that is going on with moving into college atm) Podcasts with my co-workers Kelebra and Lexishikari/Claypigeon. Lex was on holiday so he wasn’t present for this episode but he should be there for the next one. This podcast is very obviously a little old now as it was recorded just before 3.2 hit and I was waiting for the right moment to release this upon the public.
Why should I listen to the podcast?
That is a tough question but the main reason should be to hear my sexleg voice… I joke, no, you should listen to the podcast because we will be bringing you all the latest UI news, reviewing AddOns, UIs, Videos and explaining how to do stuff like using KgPanels, setting up PitBull, using Grid and much much more.
This weeks episode isn’t that good and it is probably best to avoid it if you are adverse to the odd curse word which might slip in. Mostly it was a test episode to see could we do this and how long should the podcast be. We were working from a notebook with headings which I wrote up in all of 5 mins and no script so the explanations are quite bad.
Things will improve! Now that we know it is possible and that we have somewhere to host this stuff for free, we can start working on bringing you a better quality podcast.
When will you be releasing more of these?
There is no set schedule at the moment. Weekly is an aim so check back on PMUI regularly!
Where is the link to this awesomeness!
Why here it is!

Pimp My UI: How to
GASP! Two new things in one week! Are you nuts Xeno? Well that is a good possiblility since I am talking to myself at the moment.
Again this is also a test since the sound is a little low and I really can’t be bothered rerendering this not too good video ![]()
For now Kelebra and I shall be showing you how to setup Quartz, a modular castbar addon. We will move onto more interesting things in the future but for now you will have to suffer with the basics.

Lex was also unavailable for this video but you will eventually hear him. He might also control kelebra and I, to stop us constantly rambling.
Enjoy Pímpsy the UI gnome!

Notes:
Not one but 6 UI’s are included in this package. You must read the ReadMe before you try anything but it is fairly straightforward to get it to work. All UI’s are made for 1680×1050 resolution monitors but it is possible to fit them on other screens… just not small screens as pixel lines are the sworn enemy of small resolutions.
